GOALS FOR 2010

MY GOALS FOR 2010 ARE TOO TRY HARDER BECAUSE I AM FAILING ALMOST ALL MY CLASSES AND I NEED TOO GET ON THE BALL AND I PROMISED MY MOM I WOULD TRY WELL NOT ACTUALLY TRY BUT DO IT MAKE UP THE WORK I HAVE NOT TURNED IN ,DO ALL MY WORK I HAVE TO DO NOW,MY MOM SAID IF I DON`T GET ON THE BALL SHE WILL TAKE ME OUT OF CHEER LEADING.I TOLD HER NO BECAUSE I AM DOING CHEER LEADING WITH MY BEST FRIENDS MONICA,ANDREA Z AND THAT'S IT.MY ONLY BEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD FOR EVER UNTIL I DIE WE ALL LOVE EACH OTHER.I NEED TO START DOING GOOD AND PAY LESS ATTENTION TO OTHER STUFF AND MORE ATTENTION TO MY WORK AND TO SCHOOL.MY MOMS ALWAYS TELLING ME THAT WE ALL GO TOO SCHOOL TO LEARN NOT TO TALK WITH ALL MY FRIENDS AND I TOLD HER I WOULD DO MY WORK AND PAY LESS ATTENTION TO MY FRIENDS AND OTHER KNIDS OF STUFF.I LOVE MY MOMO AND I WILL DO ANYTHING TOO SACRIFICE FOR HER OR I WOULD EVEN DIE FOR HER AND MY DAD,AND MY SISTERS,AND MY BROTHER.I LOVE THEM ALL VERY MUCH.THESE ARE MY GOALS FOR 2010.

I AM WRITING ABOUT A FAMOUS SINGER NAMED SELENA QUINTILLA AND SHE DIED AT MARCH 1ST 1955 AT ONE O FIVE P.M.THE GUN THEY KILLED HER WITH WAS BROKEN INTO PIECES AND THROWN INTO CORPUS,CHRISTI BAY.THE EVIDENCE WAS NEVER FOUND.YOLANDA(THE KILLER)CLAIMED SELENA CHEATED ON HER HUSBAND AND YOLANDA HAD EVIDENCE.BUT IT WAS NEVER FOUND.SHE DIED AFTER SHE SANG A SONG CALLED`DREAMING OF YOU`.NOW IT REMAINS THE SECOND FASTEST ALBUM BY A FEMALE ARTIST TO DATE.HER BROTHER ABRAHAM QUINTILLA WROTE THE LYRICS TO HER SPANISH SONGS.A GUY NAMED HOWARD STERN MOCKED HER DEATH,AND MADE FUN OF HER MUSIC AND HER.SHE WAS THE FIRST TEJANO SINGER EVER TO RECEIVE GOLD STATUS.SHE WAS BURIED IN A PURPLE OUTFIT.HER HUSBAND CHRIS PEREZ NOW HAS 2 KIDS.HER FAMILY OPENED A MUSEUM THAT HAS PICTURES,CLOTHING AND OTHER ACCESSORIES SHE WORE,HER CAR,AND OTHER MEMORABILIA.WHEN SHE WAS BEING CARRIED ON THE STRETCHER IT SHOWS HER WEARING HER PURPLE OUTFIT.THE TIME OF HER DEATH SHE WAS ACTUALLY WEARING A GREEN SWEAT SUIT,ALSO AT THE TIME HER NAILS WERE PAINTED RED BUT THEY SHOWED THEM CLEAR.THEY SHOWED THE DAYS WHEN SHE WAS MURDERED AND THE MOTEL,THE DOORS WERE GREEN BUT THEY WERE ACTUALLY RED.THE DRESS SHE WORE TO THE GRAMMYS IS REALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE IN THE MOVIE.HER SPEECH WAS REALLY THAT EMOTIONAL OR PORTRAYED IN THE MOVIE.SHE NEVER MOTIONED CHRIS OR THE FANS IN HER SPEECH.SHE NEVER MET CHRIS AT HOME.IT WAS WHILE HE WAS PERFORMING (WITH THE BAND HE WAS IN THAT TIME)WHEN THEY MET.SHE WASN`T BREATHING OR HAD NO PULSE AND THE AMBULANCE CAME IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.SHE DIED BEFORE MAKING IT TO THE HOSPITAL.THE GUNSHOT SHATTERED HER IN HER COLLARBONE.SHE HAD TO MUCH BLOOD.THEY FINALLY GOT THE BLOOD TO STOP.THEY PUT THE IV IN HER ARM AND IT DIDN`T HELP THAT MUCH.IS SOUNDED GOOD BUT TERRIBLE GIVEN HER CIRCUMSTANCES.EVEN AT YOUNG AGE SHE REQUIRED A LOT LESS CUTS WHEN RECORDING AN ALBUM THEN PEOPLE MUCH OLDER THEN EXPERIENCED MORE THAN HER.EVEN THOUGH HER NATIVE LANGUAGE WAS ENGLISH ALL BUT HER LAST ALBUM WERE IN SPANISH.SHE WAS BORN APRIL 16TH 1971 TO MEXICAN AMERICAN PARENTS(ABRAHAM AND MARCELLA QUINTILLA)IN LAKE JACKSON TEXAS.HER FATHER KNEW ONE DAY SHE WOULD BECOME FAMOUS.SHE FORMED A BAND CALLED SELENA Y LOS DINOS WITH HER BROTHER AND HER SISTER.THEY PLAYED AT WEDDINGS,STREET CORNERS,FAIRS,QUINCENARAS.THE BAND WAS `BOOED` OFF WHILE PERFORMING AT A WEDDING.IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THE TEACHERS NEVER REMEMBERED SELENA FOR STANDING OUT.HER MARKS WERE AVERAGE.SHE DRESSED AVERAGE AND ACTED LIKE ANOTHER LITTLE GIRL.SHE ALWAYS DID WHAT SHE WAS TOLD,AND NEVER CAUSED ANY TROUBLE.AS SHE PROGRESSED IN SCHOOL SHE WAS CONSTANTLY MISSING CLASSES TO PERFORM.SHE DIDN`T WANT TO PRACTICE AT HOME WITH HER DAD SHE WAS TWO TIRED.THEY DISCOVERED THERE TALENT AT A VERY YOUNG AGE.SELENA WAS BROUGHT UP WITH THE SAME BELIEFS.NEWS OF SELENA'S DEATH WAS ON T.V. RIGHT AWAY.AFTER ONE YEAR SELENA'S ALBUM WOULD COME OUT.

ENDANGERED SPECIES

Conserve Habitats
One of the most important ways to help threatened plants and animals survive is to protect their habitats permanently in national parks, nature reserves or wilderness areas. There they can live without too much interference from humans. It is also important to protect habitats outside reserves such as on farms and along roadsides.
You can visit a nearby national park or nature reserve. Some national parks have special guided tours and walks for kids. Talk to the rangers to find out whether there are any threatened species and how they are being protected. You and your friends might be able to help the rangers in their conservation work.
When you visit a national park, make sure you obey the wildlife code: follow fire regulations; leave your pets at home; leave flowers, birds’ eggs, logs and bush rocks where you find them; put your rubbish in a bin or, better still, take it home.
If you have friends who live on farms, encourage them to keep patches of bush as wildlife habitats and to leave old trees standing, especially those with hollows suitable for nesting animals.
Some areas have groups which look after local lands and nature reserves. They do this by removing weeds and planting local native species in their place. You could join one of these groups, or even start a new one with your parents and friends. Ask your local parks authority or council for information.
By removing rubbish and weeds and replanting with natives you will allow the native bush to gradually regenerate. This will also encourage native animals to return.

Make Space For Our Wildlife
Build a birdfeeder and establish a birdbath for the neighborhood birds.
Plant a tree and build a birdhouse in your backyard.
Start composting in your backyard garden or on your balcony. It eliminates the need for chemical fertilizers which are harmful to animals and humans, and it benefits your plants!
Ask your parents not to use harmful chemicals in your garden or home.

Recycle, Reduce, And Reuse
Encourage your family to take public transportation. Walk or ride bicycles rather than using the car.
Save energy by turning off lights, radios and the TV when you are not using them.
Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth and use water-saving devices on your toilet, taps and showerhead.
Ask your parents to buy products and food without packaging whenever possible. Take your own bag to the store. It will reduce the amount of garbage and waste your family produces.
Recycle your toys, books and games by donating them to a hospital, daycare, nursery school or children's charity.
Encourage your family to shop for organic fruits and vegetables.
Plant Native Plants That Are Local To The Area
If you can, plant native plants instead of non-native or introduced ones in your garden. You don’t want seeds from introduced plants escaping into the bush. Native grasses, flowers, shrubs and trees are more likely to attract native birds, butterflies and other insects, and maybe even some threatened species.

Control Introduced Plants And Animals
Non-native plants and animals are ones that come from outside your local area.
Some parks and reserves, beaches, bush-land and rivers are now infested with invasive plants, and native species often cannot compete with these plants.
Many environmental weeds come from people’s gardens.
Sometimes, the seeds are taken into the bush by the wind or by birds.
Controlling these foreign species is an important step in protecting wildlife

There are many community groups working on conservation activities. Join an organization in your area and start helping today!

Make Your Voice Heard
State and territory government conservation agencies are responsible for the management of national parks and the protection of wildlife. They are sometimes supported by public foundations.
Tell your family, friends and work mates about threatened species and how they can help them.
Start a group dedicated to protecting a threatened plant or animal in your area or perhaps to help care for a national park.
Write articles or letters about threatened species to newspapers.
Ring up talk-back radio programs to air your concerns, or arrange to talk on your community radio station.

I READ A BOOK CALLED THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA AND IT WAS ABOUT FOUR KIDS NAMED LUCY,EDWIN,SUSAN,PETER AND THEY GO LIVE WITH THIS PROFESSOR AND THIS LADY AND THEY START PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK AND LUCY FINDS THE PROFESSORS CLOSET WITH ALL HIS FURRY COATS AND SHE LOOKS DOWN AND SEES SHES STEPPING ON SNOW AND SHE FINDS A LIGHTHOUSE AND SEES A FAUN AND SHE GETS SCARED AND HIDES BEHIND THE LIGHTHOUSE AND THEN THEY START TALKING AND SHE SHAKES HIS HAND AND THEN HE TAKES LUCY TO HIS HOUSE AND BLOWS THIS WHISTLE AND THIS WHITE WITCH COMES AND SHE CALLS HER SELF THE QUEEN OF NARNIA AND RUNS BACK TO THE PROFESSORS HOUSE AND TELLS HER PETER,SUSAN,EDWIN.BUT THEY DON`T BELIEVE HER AND EDWIN STARTS LAUGHING AND SUSAN,AND PETER RUN TO TELL THE PROFESSOR THAT THEY THINK LUCY HAS BEEN DAY DREAMING AND THE PROFESSOR SAYS MAYBE THEY SHOULD BELIEVE LUCY.SO THEY COME BACK AND LUCY IS CRYING AND EDWIN'S LAUGHING AT LUCY.THEY RUN FROM THE LADY THAT TOOK THEM TO THE PROFESSOR AND RUN TO THE COAT CLOSET THAT LUCY FOUND AND PETER AND SUSAN SEE THAT LUCY WAS NOT PLAYING AND THEY START SAYING SORRY AND EDWIN IS JUST LOOKING AROUND AND PETER TELLS HIM TO APOLOGIES TO LUCY AND HE DOES THAN THEY ALL WONDER ALL AROUND NARNIA AND THEY FOUND THE FAUN WAS MISSING AND THE SEE A NOTE FROM THE WHITE WITCH.THEY GO LOOK FOR THE FAUN AND ON THE WAY THEY FIND TWO BEAVERS A MALE AND A FEMALE AND THE BEAVERS INVITE THEM IN FOR SOME HOT COCOA AND SOME THING TO EAT.WHILE THEY ARE DOING THAT EDWIN LEAVES FROM THE BEAVERS HOUSE AND THE WHITE WITCH FINDS EDWIN AND GIVES HIM A BEVERAGE BUT THEN SHE SAYS WHERES THE OTHERS AND THEN HE SAID AT THE BEAVERS HOUSE AND THE WITCH SENDS SOME SNOW DOGS TO GET PETER,SUSAN AND,LUCY.BUT THEY ALL ESCAPE THROUGH A TUNNEL AND CLIMB UP IN A TREE AND STAY THERE UNTIL THE SNOW DOGS GET TIRED.THEN THE DOGS LEAVE AND THEY COME DOWN FROM THE TREE AND THIS MAN SEES THEM AND GIVES THEM GIFTS.HE GIVES LUCY POTION,SUSAN GETS BOW AND ARROW,PETER GETS A SWORD.THEY USE THOSE TO FIGHT THE WHITE WITCH BUT BEFORE THAT THEY GO FIND A LION NAMED ASLAN AND THEY BECOME QUEENS AND KINGS TO FIGHT THE WITCH.THE WHITE WITCH CAPTURES EDWIN AND KEEPS HIM IN HER CASTLE WHICH IS MADE OUT OF ICE AND HE IS FREEZING TO DEATH.THEN THEY FIND EDWIN AND THE FAUN AND GET ALL THE PEOPLE FROM ASLANS KINGDOM AND THEY GO TO FIGHT THE WHITE WITCH AND SHE HAS HER PEOPLE TO FIGHT PLUS HER SELF.THEY START FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM AND PETER,SUSAN,LUCY,EDWIN ALL KILL THE WHITE WITCH TOGETHER AND THEY WIN AND UNFREEZE ALL THERE FRIENDS AND ALL FOUR KIDS BECOME KINGS AND QUEENS OF NARNIA.THEY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
